What keeps her coming back to the studio is the excitement of colour and form inspired by the natural world and the impact that man has made on the landscape, such as the neglected corners of fields. She works in monoprints building up layers of colour with the roller. It is a very spontaneous way of working and doesn’t always go to plan. She has also begun working in oil paints, giving her a limitless range of colours to interpret the world around her.
