Cedoux Kadima is a community artist who was born in Congo and now living in the UK. His work has changed his life, and has enabled him to interact and connect with the world around him.
Cedoux uses art as a tool to question things that matter to him, and share stories to inspire and connect people. Cedoux believes that art should have a social purpose. He would like his work to act as a mirror in which the viewer sees his own behavior reflected. He hopes to inspire young people, men and women to question their relationship with society and the natural environment, to become, in effect, more aware of their rights and responsibilities to the people and the planet.
Cedoux’s works consciously tell my story, and collaboratively compose the stories of his community and his country the Congo. This is a journey of survival through the creative process, tackling discrimination and defending an inner identity.
