Marie LaPre Grabon

For the past 36 years Marie has been exhibiting her work in Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New York. She has held numerous individual exhibitions, the latest ones being at Catamount Arts in St. Johnsbury, VT and the Governor’s Gallery in Montpelier, VT.

Marie has received many awards from a variety of organizations including Johnson State College, Stratton Art Festival, Helen Day Art Center, Vermont Studio Center, AVA Gallery and the Vermont Arts Council. She has also participated in many art residency programs such as the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, VT, the Berkshire Center for Contemporary Art in North Adams, MA, Trinity College, Burlington, VT, and Quebec.

Marie received her undergraduate degree from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, MA, and a graduate degree in drawing and painting from Goddard College in Plainfield, VT. She continues to maintain her studio in her home in Hardwick, Vermont, where she is currently producing drawings, paintings and mixed media works of art.
